Top City played well however couldn't get past Team Flight or The Oklahoma Hoop Stars. The Team has some really good performances over the weekend. The team was led by Damien Box with 12pts per game, Dasani Giardina added 9pts per game and Jackob Kuebler had 6pts per game. Damien, Jakob and Trey Sizemore all had over 20 rebounds for the tourney.
As team Top City shot 21 of 43 for 48% from the Free Throw Line, "this is one of the areas of focus going into next year," said coach giardina. "The other, is limiting the amount of easy baskets we give the other teams through out the game" "We need to make sure other teams earn every point against us!
The team will now take two months off as Kansas rules has them playing for their middle school. I look forward to seeing each player play for their respective schools. Good Luck to all!!
